If you need help with it, tell me.

Although to really enjoy it, you would need some add-ons.

Yeah.. been poking around a bit and takes some getting used to. Shit default scenery and framerates in their low teens for my medium rig.

The idea was to get in to get a head start on carrier operations and the F/A-18 (For DCS when it arrives). I have downloaded Dino's F-14 and am considering the F/A-18 superbug because of rave reviews.

But I also need good scenery and weather so will check out your post in detail.

Learning carrier operations is mostly over water, so that will help with the FPS.

No current interest in airliners, though that may change.

for the price, I picked it up too. I'll go find the mod's afterwards. Like we usually do with every other sim! :D

To the OP, thanks M8!

Don't mention it. There are after all, for ww2 buffs as well, a number of acclaimed A2A "Accusim" warbirds available. Spitfire, P-51, P-47, B-17 to mention a few. No combat though, but nice for flying over your house or whatever strikes your fancy.

Oh yeah, i can't recommend enough anything from a2a. If you're interested, let me know, I have got the WWII modules and don't fly them anymore, you can have them (PM me)

I also tried the orbx scenery which was very pretty. There are some freeware versions to see what it's all about.

Thaine showed me some cool stuff he's flying in FSX and that's something that would make me install the sim again... if I had the bloody time.
