ATO 2016/11/19, BALKANS ToO, OP BALANCE OF POWER (continued)
PILOTS: FALCON, SOKKA, COUGAR, 1 x AI
BRIEFING: http://aircombatgroup.co.uk/forum/viewt ... 989#p93989

RESULT: all targets destroyed with no (human) losses. war production output and COM in the region seriously hampered.
SCREENS: http://aircombatgroup.co.uk/forum/viewt ... 143#p94143

positives:
-all around mission success
-A+ for prodecures
-no 3D based server issues
-discovery: following procedures eliminates many crashes and server issues

negatives:
-dedicated server still not available
-one player wasnt able to join the server
-technical difficulties remain with some players
-IVC server crash before TO

summary: CAMPAIGN YAY, TEC still not so YAY...

regarding secus post above:
-yes, i have found a way to turn up IVC volume. refer to manual (IVC SECTION) for detailed description
-no, falcon online had a 24/7 balkans campaign running with many players flying at the same time. it is more than up to the task of holding many players.
-true, TEs require far less resources than campaigns. building one is not complicated, in 30min you can build a decent TE. if we run into further trouble when hosting 5+ players, we might consider it an option.

ATO 2016/11/22, BALKANS ToO, OP BALANCE OF POWER (continued, with the ACG SERVER!)
PILOTS: FALCON, SECU, COUGAR
BRIEFING: http://aircombatgroup.co.uk/forum/viewt ... &start=240

RESULTS: NONE - server crashed :puke:

due to the below limit number of players, we decided to postpone the campaign mission (will be repeated) and do some server testing.
after changing to the KTO, we set up only a TE of 3 F-16s and a KC-135. worked very smooth and did not crash! OUR FRIST COMPLETE DEDICATED SESSION :lux:
SCREENS: http://aircombatgroup.co.uk/forum/viewt ... 435#p94435

after falcon and secu had left, skyvi and i conducted another test, this time we tried a full campaign mission in the KTO. we were also (almost) successful in completing that, the server crashed just after i broke teamviewer connection after we had declared the SWEEP flight as a success :liar:

CONCLUSION: almost there...!

CONCLUSION: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S02BHmWPZNs
took some tweaking, but i feel confident we have found the right server settings to unleash its full potential :lux: :B:

ATO of TUESDAY, 2016/11/22
BALKANS ToO, OP BALANCE OF POWER DAY 2 (continued)
PILOTS: FALCON, COUGAR
BRIEFING: http://aircombatgroup.co.uk/forum/viewt ... 185#p94185
SCREENS: http://aircombatgroup.co.uk/forum/viewt ... 704#p96704

RESULTS:
BANJA LUKA AB operational status was reduced to 0% and was completely shut down, therefore grounding all remaining MIG-29 fighter aircraft stationed there. Also, SAM sites' operational status protecting the area were also reduced significantly by knocking out targeting radars and launch errectors, clearing a path for strike aircraft. War production in the area however could not be engaged due to a lack of pilots present.

ATO of TUESDAY, 2017/01/03
BALKANS ToO, OP BALANCE OF POWER DAY 3 (continued)
PILOTS: FALCON, SKYVI, COUGAR
SCREENS: http://aircombatgroup.co.uk/forum/viewt ... 093#p98093

SITREP DAY 3, 1100hrs
After successfully transfering to the frontline airfield of BIHAC, we combined a familirazition flight in the araea with the attack on an enemy armoured vehicle battalion on his way to reinforce the enemy troop positions in the ZADAR area. in order to accomplish this task, a nearby AAA battallion had to be taken out prior to the attack. Since the enemy resistance in this particular area is quite heavy, more ATOs will be formulated in the near future in order to achieve air and ground superiority in the region.

RESULTS:
both the AAA and the armoured vehicle battallion suffered heavy losses and were reduced to 25%, respectively 35% of its operational status. according to our intel, both battallions are forced to abort their originated mission to support enemy strongholds in the ZADAR region and regroup near their current positions.
