FW 190 F9 Hasegawa 1/72

Post by Secu » Tue Aug 08, 2023 6:02 pm

Hi all

While I tidied my workshop I found a 30 years old Hasegawa FW 190 F9 1/72 kit.

The kit was good and I decided to do it. Because it was the very last version of the short nose 190, I decided to apply all the things I read in this book about the controversial late war Luftwaffe paint schemes

I won't give you a course about the late "paint save" luftwaffe camo
But this the result of my study and interpretation of the pictures of the actual aircraft.

Beautiful work, especially for 1/72. Late-war is always very interesting, and this one has an especially unusual look

That's a damn fine looking model. I really like the amount of colours going on and in 1/72 it's even more admirable.

Hard to believe that is 1/72, the painting is so good. Nice work.
