He is fast becoming the premier collisionist of WWI :D

I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.

I'm afraid that there is a curse on No.29's captains...

I tried my best to avoid it. I got caught following Nev going in for the kill and the Eindecker turned back towards me. I should have just pulled up but tried to get a shot in.

Scramble, scramble. Incoming Eindeckers.

As we took off the Eindeckers arrived and were strafing the airfield. Our AA guns shot back as we took to the sky. After a short but intense battle. Broadsword got a kill chasing one German down into the ground. Then Secu took care of another one, causing a fire. It fell from the blue and went straight into Broadsword's DH2. He survived the crash. Bunny and Bully also claim one a piece, shortly before they collided with each other that is. Both survived the crash.

This action was flown by Pariah, Secu, Bunny, Jammy, Bully and Broadsword.

The last action of the month saw 29 take to the skies against some incoming DFWs. Again they were very high and we had climbed to 4,500 feet before they turned to head for home. They dove but we had cut off their escape. We gave good account of ourselves and Eaton 'Nev' Engleford is the first of 29 to claim a DFW. Bunny and Broadsword took some hits and were wounded along with Nev. 29 survived to fight another day but some of the DFWs crashed on their way home.

This action was flown by Pariah, Secu, Bunny, Jammy, Bully, Broadsword and Nev.

Tally board updated again thanks to Bunny. I've noticed that Jammy and Nev have got a good few missions under their belts and are probably overdue Military Crosses. Lets see what the future brings.

With the air war on this side of the front seemingly won by 29 squadron it was time to go on an offensive patrol even deeper into enemy land. This time over some transport hubs to see what we could stir up. Unfortunately this meant flying a little lower and being amongst our old friend Archie. Jammy bought it before we reached the first town. Pariah then snuffed it when ground fire caught him in a turn and blew a wing off. Bully got too close and rammed the train knocking it from the tracks.

A train was spotted and the rest had at it until new recruit Trent 'Azref' Horsey got the final shots in. Kaboom.

Image

Bully must have got clear of his craft as he was captured by the enemy.

The rest headed home but Nev and Azref lost their lives on the way back to ground fire. Broadsword limped back to base with damage closely followed by Bunny.
