Recruitment: Escadrille N.15 (SPA.15) - GMT

Post by Dickie » Tue Nov 07, 2017 2:33 pm

Vive La France!

There are already 2 British squadrons running a campaign and the only French one is EST, so this is for ACG's French pilots who live in Europe. Operating as Escadrille N.26 we shall fly the Nieuport 11.C1 in January 1916, (DLC for under £5), then as the free Nieuport 17.C1 and finishing off the campaign as Escadrille SPA.15 flying the wonderful Spad 7.C1 180HP (DLC) and then in 1918 upgrading to the unstoppable Spad XIII.C1

There are uber cheap DLC offers for these machines - see Geordie, he's the dodgy spiv who can sort you out cheap.

Take off shall be 1930 GMT (2030 CET) on WEDNESDAYS. I haven't set a start date yet, but I'm looking for pilots, especially if they are French (I encourage communications en Francais)

Bonjour mon amis

Salut Dickie!

I don’t have the availability yet but I am considering getting back to ROF for fun. Do you need people to be there each week or it is not a critical issue maybe?

TBH Kerdou I didn't get a good response from this so apart from getting it working nobody has come along wanting to fly.

this does sound very interesting indeed.

i would be up for some flying and speaking french if some more people join as well (it's quite boring on your own...)
Alors peut etre il y a des français qui veut voller des spads et nieuports aussi.

Hi chaps!
Quite busy at the moment with RL stuff but I'd love to join when my planning clears up a bit (mid-february as it seems for now).
Et bien entendu, les communications en français chers amis!
I can even provide you with French on-the-scene account of the Der des Der as my great-grand-father used to call WW1.

I'll keep you posted when I come back from my next business trip.

Vive la N.15 et à la chasse... bord'ailes!

I'd love to join a French-speaking squadron for occasional WW1 mayhem if there's space!

We have traction! Can't do anything tonight and I failed to get my server running, but Geordie did and he PROMISED he'd host.
