Mission Date: 09-08-16
Time: 04:30?

An early morning patrol as the sun rises in the east. Again we find no enemy but it was a beautiful morning to go flying.

Several new pilots flying this time, including a guest appearance by Sharpe.

Mission flown by:

Cpt Nathaniel 'Pariah' Turner
Lt Angus 'Secu' Lond
2nd Lt Abbott ‘Nev’ Bartelot
2nd Lt Austin 'Jammy' Playters
2nd Lt Elias 'Bunny' Parsons
2nd Lt Peter 'Bully' Peltie
2nd Lt Stuart 'Sharpe' Plessey

Edit: Thanks to my squadron mates for informing me of who flew as who.

I've made the new scoreboard up, but I'll make more changes after tonight's sortie/s and upload it then :nice:

For the record, Secu is now the longest serving pilot with a whopping 21 flights to his name! :salute:

Yeah, some of us need more flights under our belt. There needs to be a 25 sortie medal. 21 is damn impressive though.

Mission Date: 10-08-16
Time: 12:30

A mission to destroy an enemy balloon turned into our first encounter with four Halberstadt D.IIs. 29 gave a good account of themselves but it seems that our own AA guns took care of them all. I got some hits in one, Bully could have claimed one. It seems in all the excitement that Bunny took a hit and crash landed. He may or may not have collided with me. Nev could at least claim the balloon before heading back. Secu had to lead the squadron to the dirigible as I had taken hits to the engine and it died. I managed to ditch in a field. Unfortunately on attacking said dirigible 2nd Arlen 'Broadsword' Taylor collided with it and fell to his death.
