Funnily enough, anal probing is not a multi-million dollar business

Re: Cockpit build electronics thread
Ordered 2x 5 turn pots from RS Online and 10 hall sensors from Ebay. Getting the bits in, really need to get on and build some more bits.
I assume I'm going to need a Leo Bodnar board or similar? Basically I need some way to connect the electronics up as signals to the PC so I can process them in as easy a way as possible.

Bodnar is the easiest one, it probably not the cheapest.

Re: Cockpit build electronics thread
Going to get an Arduino R3 (Uno?) board, half the price and more flexible from what I can see. Problem with Leo Bodnar is that you have to get one for a particular type of action you want to do as far as I can see, eg on/off toggle, momentary, not momentary etc, you can't get one Leo Bodnar board that will handle analogue input + toggle switches + push buttons all together......or can you?????

Re: Cockpit build electronics thread
Just bought an Uno R3 replica for a 1/4 the price, might need some additional drivers for it but it's basically identical.

Plans afoot to wire up those pots for trim and complete my H selector for the gear and flaps.

Re: Cockpit build electronics thread
OK so I've got the pot working on the Arduino but although I can vary the length of time the LED flashes for in code, the pot turn is not recognised by default in COD control analog axis, ie, I select the control and turn the pot but nothing appears. So, how do I get COD to recognise the control? Is it code or is it something I need to install or code?
