Nor law nor duty bade me fight,
Nor public men, nor cheering crowds.
A lonely impulse of delight
Led to this tumult in the clouds

I have just bagged the bucket seat out of this Hurricane flown by Sqn Ldr "Skipper" (Robert Shaw) in the Battle of Britain Film.

Extract of my received email from Spitfire Spares:
"Its from the aircraft where the chap with the white jumper gets out I forget his name 1.30 seconds in approx https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVXOyklW4Ps
I watched the film when it came out in Wells cinema loved it have seen it a thousand times and can recite each word all the way through shame i cant remember the actors names though ha ha. Amazing they showed in your school they would never do that now. My wife is a primary teacher and knows nothing about history I asked here what happened in 1805 yesterday and she didn't know , bloody disgrace they don't teach Kids real history any more.
Seat is all booked in collection tomorrow should be there Friday"

I received the seat and have it "fitted". Robert Shaw sat here!
I did a quick Biggin familiarisation just now to try it out (I must have put some weight on since my 20's)!!
First, for Ginger. This is how I try and keep up with our whereabouts - doesn't take long to get lost though - sigh!

This is incredible.
I've spend about a half hour just staring and drinking in all of the work you've done.
A piece of artwork. Congratulations.
