Cockpit Build - Hurricane - MK II

Re: Cockpit Build - Hurricane - MK II
I came across this photo of Robert Stanford-Tuck sat in the cockpit of his Hurricane.
He has as much room as I do sat in amongst my own plastic pipes! Which isn't a lot.
It looks to me as if his seat is raised as high as it can go, as he is higher than the gunsight glass. If he shut the canopy, his head would be banging the top!
I've tried to allocate a key to "raise seat", but there is no response in game, even though the handle (right hand side of the seat) is modelled. Does anyone know if this is supposed to work for the Hurricane/Spitfire in game?
My TIR has had to sit behind me on a table, with the Track Clip Pro pointing backwards. The seat back comes up about as far as the bottom of my neck. Just where Roberts life preserver goes round the back of his neck.
I cannot see much past 90 degrees port or starboard. I have to turn the aircraft to physically look back at six. It looks to me as if Robert would also have that restriction, due to his life-preserver, flying jacket, and even his helmet restricting his movement. Unless you put your head out of the aircraft to look back (was this done in combat flying over 200 MPH?), you would only see the armour plating behind your head.
I know TF 5.0 is supposed to have working mirrors, which would be a great help.
I have noticed in some of the videos that people using TIR can turn 180 degrees! Is this a bit of a cheat, or just accepted? It's not as if you would be able to police it anyway.

Well, you can turn 180 degrees, but you just see the armour plate, so it's not much of a cheat in a Hurricane...
I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.

Only dirty spitfire pilots and the hun can spin their heads around 180o ( they made a pact with the devil)
DEAD PILOTS DONT MAKE CLAIMS

The wife had a go earlier. Aircraft already in the air, so just needed JS and slight rudder input.
TIR was active. But she didn't look anywhere else but straight ahead!
Camera is on a desk behind her. Higher, and looking down. So the real stuff looks out of line to the in game view, but it isn't. Just the FOV of the camera. The flickering is because of the higher frame rate, you don't see this in RL.
This is the shit view I have to put up with every time I fly ....!

Yup, I don't know how you cope

Just about to move my instruments over to stepper motors rather than (noisy) servo driven ones.
Thought I would cobble a video together of my build from start to finish! Should have it complete by the end of the year.
