A new 'affordable' joystick
Morning all,
Some may know, particularly Teepee from No.111, that I have been having rather odd joystick problems recently. I'm not sure whether it's because it is Bluetooth or whether it's because it is just old.
Anyway, in mid-flight this joystick does some real weird stuff; full left aileron, full up elevator etc. in fact I think my radiators closed on my 109 once and cause me to blow the engine in combat.
Since I'm 18 in November, and don't have a part-time job anymore, it may be obvious that money is a little bit of an issue and since I have my car insurance and pilot's license to sort out in the next few months, my birthday isn't exactly going to help.
I have looked online and all the joysticks that No.111 recommended to me at the time are WAY out of my budget, by about £1,000.
Does anyone know any good reliable WIRED joysticks that are probably within the £100 - £150 range? (maximum. cheaper is better )
Thanks a bunch,
Mike

Hi
If you only need a joystick, the T-16000 is your stuff.

Why dont you have a go at making your own then you can make it as reliable as you like. You'd do it for less than £100.

T-16000 is a fantastic stick!
Also. What stick costs £1,000!?

That T16000 looks good. Thanks for that.
Geordie the £1,000 joystick was a yoke with centre console and separate throttle, mixture and trim wheels
Also Kildren, have you got any pictures of the joystick in question?

I think that's with one of those Chinese plastic extensions screwed in - I hear it makes for a more authentic experienceGinger wrote:Kildren is it always 8 inch long or is that when it's ready for action?Kildren wrote:For a small price i can offer you one that is smooth about 8 inches long and has force feedback?
