Had the great idea of plunging in to the world of Windows 10.. after hearing good things,

Completely FUCKED my system up... Installed all fine (Upgrade), until I came to load Windows - and then I was met with a blue flashing screen :veryangry:

Wouldn't do anything, three hours of trying to boot safe mode - kept crashing.. I had loads of personal files I needed so was dubious about a clean install, but... had no choice, luckily I have three drives so ended up installing a fresh Windows on my large SSD (the one where all my fucking games and settings was on)

Anyone thinking to do the same - I think it has something to do with Nvidia drivers not being compatible with an original install of Win10 (it needs to update before the drivers are compatible)

So spent the entire day re-installing programs and games. FFS...

Windows 10 is pretty good though! seem to be getting good performance gains :)

Now, Wiggy... gona have to chew your ear off at some point - can't for the life of me remember my Nvidia settings I had etc etc

Now install Classic Shell to make it look like Windows 7 again!

This makes me want to move over to linux some much more. I've gotten my laptop over but I just can't seem to push myself to create a partition for linux yet.

I'm still on win7 as well.

Win 10 is so much better for me than Win 7 - far less annoying admin shit to deal with.

Yes,I concur,Windows 10 is better for me too,sorry to hear your woes Woza,but persevere mate,you'll get there in the end,and it will be worth it :nice:
