Very good film, I think he played Winston very well

Yeah, Oldman's performance was stunning, especially while playing the "weaknesses" (like Churchill mumbling invectives against Hitler or staring depressively in a dark room). But the whole film was terribly shallow with Halifax being portrayed as a total jerk, the crux of the plot seems to be "everyone was halfwitted in their pursuit for peace and the Great Old Man was right from the start". And the tube scene was just painful to watch. In any case I hope that Garry gets an Oscar for that. I believe he has yet to receive his first one which is simply weird.
