Welcome and I'm glad you've settled in.
Where you end up is not a matter for Squadron Leaders, nor even Wing Commanders or Group Captains. The AOC shall decide.
Jolly good carry on

Welcome aboard Fishin, always nice to see new arrivals. I'm sure that any of our fantastic RAF squadrons can make good use of you, and from Onebad's glowing review of your progress so far it looks like you may even be good enough to join a Hurricane squadron
With that in mind, Teepee is right to say that 111 squadron could use the extra help at the moment, and Matt is accurate when he says that 32 are not a bad squadron. Other squadrons are of course available, so the best of luck with your assignment

I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.

That's it then Fish, I'll get you signed on the books after you've flown with 32 Sqn on Sunday.

Welcome aboard, Fish No 32 Squadron are a good crowd, particularly now that they've had their meds adjusted

I'd heard rumours the Naafi bar had had to put in extra orders of Badgers - that explains it!Grumpy wrote:No 32 Squadron are a good crowd, particularly now that they've had their meds adjusted
