New pilot
Hi,
I just wanted to give a big shout out to the community here for the warm welcome on TS. Special thanks to Dickie, Frederf, and especially Zalzam in ZG76 for taking the time to walk me through the basics and provide an excellent run down & lay of the land. Looks like I'll have plenty to practice on with the multi engine BF110! Looking forward to flying with you again soon.
Brief rundown with me: I'm middle aged guy in New England, US (near Boston), a casual gamer, & I'm been getting into flight sims in the past couple of months. Have mostly single player experience with the IL2 Stalingrad, and a bit of WWII DCS. Aside from the sims, the historical immersion aspect holds a lot of appeal. As to flying preferences - I'm just learning the ropes & open to try whatever; its all good...
Cheers,
"Ray Charles"

Re: New pilot
I figured with my bat-like sonar and extra long curb feelers on the wing tips, I should be good to go! Good thing is I can fly in the dark as well (i.e. as poorly) as in the day light...

Too bad we don't have night fighters. You'd hardly be able to tell the difference!

Re: New pilot
Welcome to ACG Ray, see you up in the blue
I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.
