Jeez.. looks like all the windbags wordsmiths are in the RAF. Must admit I do always read the tommie reports. Always a great laugh. Well done chaps ;)

I think you forgot me and Pitti on the lucky bastard list. My pilot is the only one to escape capture and right in the next mission survived his own death. And Pitti also escaped from London without being captured and survived various assassination attempts by his own side, including being rammed by a 110. :lol:

I must say, though I'm really here for the cameraderaderie and the lulz, it does rather warm the cockles that as a newcomer I've managed to sneak onto the RAF aces list by the skin of my teeth, as well as make a good showing on the 'talks too much' list and even get an appearance on the lucky buggers list :lol: Fun stuff Thaine, and interesting to boot. Thanks for the effort in compiling these, particularly for the fun stuff alongside the more serious ones :lol:

Edit - and I second Dave's comment re. Robo. He really is the most disgustingly accurate bastard, and he makes it worse by being so fucking humble about it....
"Yeah, yeah mate. It's all good, you're doing well. Tell you what Broadsword, I think we should call that one a shared kill since you unwittingly acted as bait whilst I gutted that poor Jerry bastard like a white trash hooker in a slasher movie." - Robo during mission 33
Sickening isn't it :lol:

I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.

Very bloody funny stats Thaine - thanks for doing these! Reminded me I need to give the ground crew more beer, judging by the number of pranged kites I keep dropping at their door :D
