The Sitzkrieg is over! Welcome to France.

After the swift conquest of Poland attentions have now turned westward, the refusal by the British and the French of the Fuhrer’s peace offerings has necessitated the invasion of the Low countries and France.

After the offensive was launched on the 10th May, quick gains have been made as our ground forces caught the enemy by surprise in the Ardennes Forest, overwhelming the French defence. With the Dutch surrendering on the on the 14th and with the surrender of Belgian forces imminent, only the British and French armed forces stand in the way of our conquest of mainland Europe.


Current situation

Fast gains have been made into French territory and currently a wedge has been driven from Amiens to Abbeville, based at Rosieres en Santerre we are to support the Wehrmacht as they build on these gains and continue their advance.

Bombing continues of Allied military targets and towns to break both the muscle and will of the enemy forces, JG26 are to support these operations by establishing air superiority and preventing the RAF from attacking our advancing ground forces.

Intelligence reports inform us that the RAF have Hurricanes stationed on the French mainland at bases south west of the front line, although we expect to also meet the RAF’s new fighter, the Spitfire, however these are believed to still be stationed in England.

The destruction of the enemy fighters and bombers are vital to the success of this operation, let us teach the enemy to fear the sight of JG26!
