Mission - Down to their last reserves
First for once
Re: Mission - Down to their last reserves
This mission was nice and smooth without custom skins, although perhaps lack of bombers had something to do with it?

We are the Pilgrims, master; we shall go always a little further; it may be beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow across that angry or that glimmering sea

May today be better than yesterday, but, not as good as tomorrow.

Re: Mission - Down to their last reserves
the thing i don't understand about this furball....why did so many luftwaffe pilots even get involved in a low altitude furball, over enemy territory, against fighters made for turn fighting, when the enemy had overwhelming odds? no surprise they got slaughtered. it wasn't about 'staying together with your schwarm', it was about 'choosing your battles wisely'. i was overhead, didn't see any planes, but from the comms, (as sucky as i am at this game) i knew better than to get involved in a low altitude turn fight. it just didn't sound like a winning proposition.....turned out, it wasn't.....

I agree Zyk. They probably should have disengaged to fight another day or extended away to gain altitude. Sadly, I missed out on this mission. It is probably hard to ignore a fight below when you hear your staffel mates in duress though.
