UI Issue
Whenever i come out of the sim back into the UI, none of the buttons on the screen work. I have to cntl alt del and go into task manager to kill the app and reopen it for any buttons to work.
This didn't happen when I had 2 GPUs installed. But since I got rid of one, this issue started.
Any ideas? Maybe an obvious setting?
Cheers,
Coolio.

Re: UI Issue
I have exactly the same issue. It seems to have occurred for me after the last Windows 10 update.
Re: UI Issue
Don’t get me started on that update. Took out all my controls and had to setup everything from scratch. Even took out links to my bloody documents folder

Re: UI Issue
Same here. I use my OneDrive for my My Documents folder and it ignored that completely until I sorted it.Nev wrote:Don’t get me started on that update. Took out all my controls and had to setup everything from scratch. Even took out links to my bloody documents folder
Re: UI Issue
Will a reinstall fix my issue perhaps?
Re: UI Issue
Coolio. A few people (including me) have a similar problem with 4.5.
In Video options change full screen to Pseudo (keep resolution the same, or lower than your desktop) and see if that helps.

Re: UI Issue
Thanks Nails - I'll check it out after work
Re: UI Issue
Yup, Pseudo mode will sort it out if you run the sim at your monitors native res.
I run 1 res down and pseudo reverts to a window.
The problem was installed by Bill Gates with the Windows 10 Fall Update.
If you have Win10 Pro you can revert back to v1703 and defer the Fall Update for a year, which is what I did.
Its just bloatware in there, security updates and the like still come down.

Re: UI Issue
Just another reason why I COMPLETELY disabled any auto updates ...
