if they used the old SC wouldnt that bring back some of the legacy bugs that were patched?

Tested now the impact in performance of the "new" effects... And I'm terrified... this thing is not optimized at all, really bad outcome. I jump from 50+ FPS to 20, over see, just because particles of an 109 radiator leak... They tested what in beta? It's a joke?

You have a rig better than I have. Congrats. I Just get 70+ over sea and 50+ over big cities.

But it's not the point. Shoot something and see the drop in FPS when you fly through the vapour trail.

That's what I'm talking about, not sightseeing... Lol!

The bit of time I have spent online it seemed to be fine, no fps issues, just laaaaaaaaaggggg. Pretty silky actually but then everyone's machines are different I suppose.

I generally don't go online to go sight see either.

Was on atag for a few hours last nigh, barely any rubberbanding during the entire time, sever was up at max55-60 At one point.

Many fires, aaguns destroyed and other ground targets burning... No fps drop.

Just what I was experiencing... I have been on today, but Ive heard it was bad at some point.

This is just going to be an issue until the SC can be sifted through.

If the stutters/rubberbanding is minimal i will fly... if its constant, I wont. It seems to be inconsistant.

You have huge FPS drops, Biggs. You Just don't notice because you have a good rig and lote of FPS spare...

But majority of players don't have spare FPS to give away in really bad optimized effects, and CloD goes in settings from beautifull effects to other two options: pathetic effects and no effects... Lol!

All though i think cliffs of dover is a turd they did post updated system requirements and according to it i run the minimum required and get more fps then needed so its nothing really

Particles are bad optimized. Period.

I really don't care about system specs. Loss of 30 FPS due this effect is nonsense. Let´s see over London...

Well, tested. Appears to have influence of time of the day and lighting influence over effect. I know, it's hard to handle shadows/shaders in particles, but it's really a massive FPS drop. Take a look:



Big cities, big aerial battles, don't see to influence over particles effects and FPS drop, I just can noticed lighting as a factor. I love all these "minor" issues... :wank:

By the way, I love this sim and like the work made by TFS. This bullshit that 1C does, send a old SC, is causing trouble. And TFS don't make original shadres, that maybe are causing this FPS drop. Without this crap desync, I can fly with a lot of FPS.

But I'm stressed with all this waiting. I'll fly this thing. Bye!
