My DCS experience so far. Had some fun once Normandy was released, but after month or two everything went back to the old cesspool of shit it was beforehand. No traffic on the servers, sht spotting even with labels, and it's pointless to even try flying except for maybe weekends cause you'll just fight people that for some reason fly like they came on the server to go on a bloody sightseeing tour. All of that for mere 50 bucks per plane.

Aye- See your point, but remember first: It's alpha, and, like Clod, it needs to be filled with people with purpose like our campaigns to realise its potential. Still long way to go, but with upcoming new DM model, new effects and a massive list of objects etcetc, I has great potential. But yes, it is only halfway there.

"Potential", "Upcoming" and "Alpha" in relation to DCS gives me headaches. DCS WW2 I mean, as I think that the jet stuff is top notch and best experience you can have flying fast birds. But there is just so much wrong with the wwII stuff that I just can't seem to justify the pricetag, and while I understand the comparison to Cliffs, ED isn't amateur bunch like TFS, while their reaction to feedback from the community is just about the same.

I expected the Normandy map to be a bad "Alpha" edition.I just do not know when it will be better ... one day probably.
I will be waiting...Cheers! :B: :salute: :nice:

Yeh I'm waiting for that damage model release at minimum before I really bother with DCS again.
