anyone know how or if the ACG will incorporate DCS Normandy into it's campaign mojo?

I'm hoping to create something for us in Normandy that will be similair to our Cliffs of Dover campaign missions but these will just be one off events and will be seperate to the ACG campaign, if I can get them to work ok and if they are popular then it would be good to run these events on a regular basis.
Jockel is going to do something more in depth for the ACG server I think.
Both of these experiences will show us if DCS is capable of running our campaign but I would bet it is a long way off being able to do so.
But for now there is no official plan to run an ACG campaign in DCS in the near future

Hello Boyezee,
Thanks for the info. With the Allies on the Continent, JG26 soon began operating in support of the Wehrmacht, and foregoing bomber-intercept missions. It's main targets would be the Allied Tactical Air Forces which supported the Allied ground war. So, high altitude fights became mid-to-low altitude conflicts. In this, I think the Normandy map can be most "atmospheric". I wonder if the weather engine can support European weather. Any thoughts on that?
Please keep us posted on your efforts. Jockel too (if you're reading this).

DCS is fully capable of doing full overcast in multiplayer without issues, also thunder storms. It's quite impressive actually.

Thanks Dave,
Good to know. I'll have to shake the dust off my copy and have a look about, especially after tomorrow.
