Having an issue getting some of the controls mapped to my TM HOTAS. I had to remove my TM MFD's, as that I had 6 USB targets, and it appears 1946 can handle only 4.
I've no issue with 1946 recognizing my Warthog and Saitek Rudders now. I've got my axis sorted too, rudder, elevator, aileron, throttle, etc.
But I can't manage to map the rudder & elevator trim to my TM HOTAS trim hat switch. I'm able to do so with CloD without issue.
I hate having to use the up/down arrow keys for the trim, and would like to have that on my HOTAS trim hat. Any suggestions? (this is all non TARGET).
thx

Re: TM HOTAS - 1946 question/issue
Weird, but I might have it sorted...
I tried to map the trim keys in the controls "HOTAS" section, but no joy. I then went to the keyboard section of the controls file, and then mapped my HOTAS trim control to what were the shift/arrow control/arrow, etc. That seems to work.

Re: TM HOTAS - 1946 question/issue
Yes I did. In 1946 I could apply trim on the hat but the very moment I moved the stick it just forgot it and I had to re-trim again. It made flying impossible. Since then I have plugged in another stick I have with 2 analogue levers on it for trim and pitch which is giving me a temporary solution.
Eventually I'll get around to the right controls for this shit.
