I've got it on PS4. It's awesome. Not had much time to play it myself but I've spent some late evenings with a glass of wine watching (and laughing) at my teenage son play it.

Do NOT buy it for the single player. That said, I think the single player is sweet, but short. Basically 5 snippets or war stories- all played through in a few hours combined. But they are characterful and 'fun' (Oddly enough for a WW1 game. There are some dramatic change of tone- from hellish warfighting- to "Fury" like tank chapter, to air combat where you get to shoot down 70-80 enemy planes in the timeframe of 20 minutes:D).

Mulitplayer is fun, but daunting. Unless you are a veteran shooter, expect to die a LOT before your stats improve.

Visuals and sound is extremely good. Gameplay is fun, varied and intuitive. Watch a few youtube clips. What you see is what you get. (Except you will probably die a lot more than the guys on the tube.

The way I understand it is if you don't mind tons of historical accuracy and want a cross between BF1943, BF2 and a few ww1 spices you should enjoy the Multiplayer greatly (Who buys a Battlefield game for the singleplayer anyway, lol).

P.S game is definitely overhyped and the dlc's cost a bomb. But still its a solid game.

I wont give it a rating as I don't own it. Take my advice with a grain of salt.

Fair warning - if you have an Nvidia card, the game requires you to download the latest drivers to play... And unfortunately those drivers seem to totally break Cliffs of Dover. Found this out the hard way on Wednesday.
