Glad you are enjoying it Miek!

Yes, FPS is pants. But as you say, we are all in there testing. I have yet to visit a planet, just going to do that now.

For everyone else who likes to shoot their guns - Here is the Aegis Hammerhead. Hosted by Galactic Tours Jax McCleary (Jezza Clarkson)!

Then don't read anything about it for another 2-3 years, when it gets close to release.

I am waiting on 3.0, but RSI still isn't delivering to their community.

More hype! This time details on Squadron 42. An hour of (what to expect) gameplay.

Well, 3.0 is "out". I say that because I'm pretty sure they just decided to push out the best PTU client they had before they went on christmas break, figuring they'd just fix it afterwards. For me it doesn't load, just CTD's. Your mileage will vary.

You are not alone Kai Lae. Mine doesn't load either.

On the bright side I got a train running between Salisbury and Basingstoke in the CoD 4.5 FMB.

If it doesn't load you need to make a .cfg file and name it 'USER'.

Put inside it you monitor dimensions inside it like I have mine:

r_FullscreenWindow = 1
r_Width = 3440
r_Height = 1440
r_Fullscreen = 0

Put this in your root folder NOT THE USER FOLDER.

My root is: G:\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\LIVE

This should fix the start up issues, it fixed mine.

Edit; if you do not know how to make a .cfg file take mine and edit the dimensions.

No need for any of that. Sheesh!

Now the PTU is Live. One has to go and download the "Live 3.0" Installer: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/download

Once installed, run as usual (currently at Version 3.0.0-Live 695052) - Launch Game - Jobs a good'un

I wish CiG would have let us all know this, instead of having to trawl half the 'tinternet for the bloody answer!
