Re: F-15 Eagle squadron needed!
Has a ring to it...
I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.
Re: F-15 Eagle squadron needed!
I used to refuel the 493rd (Gold) F-15C aircraft at RAF Lakenheath from 2006 to 2010. A few of them had green stars painted on the left side of the aircraft below the canopy to denote real world kills from prior engagements. Would be really cool to see you guys flying with the LN on the tail! I'll have to practice with my F-15 DCS module in hopes of joining you guys!
Re: F-15 Eagle squadron needed!
just to note... To date, most F-15C's have been replaced. If you're looking to form a modern day F-15C squadron, look to the late 80s...

Obermann your welcome at any time- though I suspect the unit might have a short lifespan as other modules present themselves, primarily the F/A-18c:)
But there will be F-15 action up until then, or as long there is interest:)
