Regarding Spitfires Vb trop in Africa,
145th RAF was first to come in Africa with Spitfires in April, in Egypt bases, and in May it was in Libya

http://www.historyofwar.org/air/units/RAF/145_wwII.html

"Early in 1942 the squadron prepared to move overseas, and in February it departed for the Middle East, arriving in Egypt in April. At the end of May it moved to the western desert, becoming the first Spitfire squadron to do so. Operations began on 1 June, just in time to take part in the defence against Rommel's last offensive, the campaign that ended at El Alamein and the Egyptian border."

Also on that link u can see that from May-June 1942 they were at Gambut and that they operated in that time Spitfire Vs

In this book Spitfire Aces of North Africa and Italy by Andrew Thomas you can see they were fighting with them over Tobruk:
https://books.google.com/books?id=yVW3C ... st&f=false

and 92nd and 601 RAF had them in Africa in June 42 also, but thouse 2 squadrons were stationed in Egypt bases not on map area TF is making, probably first used in late summer or autumn in Battle of El Alamain.
maybe they have better info.

So Spitfires Vb trop fit their timeline if all that info is correct

More importantly, do we have any more confirmed aircraft for Patch 4.5?

Nothing actually useful, which is why I'm calling for a chargable DLC pack before TF5. Reasons stated.

Johnny I don't get you though, 1942 f-4 1.42 Trop vs SpitVb 16lbs Trop. Is this not correct for 1942?

Dickie, I was talking about the ETO, Forgot to mention that. You will find though that mission makers will probably still use the F4 1.42 anyways in the ETO even though I thought the ETO set of planes and changes for the ETO was for 41 only :salute:

airplanes on list that dont fit for their July 1941 channal timeline

Bf-109F4 1.42 - boost alowed late 1941 or early 1942
Bf-109F4/R1 1.42 - first use in early 1942
Spitfire VB (+16 boost) - boost alowed from mid 1942
Spitfire VB (Merlin 46 High Altitude) - engine used from early 1942
Hurricane IID Tankbuster - used in africa from 1942

But i would guess that when they have to make them for Africa timeline, they just added non trop versions so mission makers can have more options and use them for 1942 Channal missions scenarious if they wont. Who knows if there will be more TF patches after 5 if sails are bad, so more options u get in 5 is good in long run.

In the end it will be up to mission makers and server hosts to make historical missions or just have all airplanes in game available like on ATAG DF no mather if they ever fight together or in big numbers. There you will for sure see 1.42 F4 fighting Spit 16 libs or even MC202s all the time no mather what mission is running over channal map, like now u have Spit IIs vs E4Ns in fantasy numbers all time all night long.

Lol yup true. And the beginners jump in mk1 87 octane and lose and leave.

Sales and income is why they should sell a 1941 ETO set as DLC
