Re: F-15 Eagle squadron needed!
just to note... To date, most F-15C's have been replaced. If you're looking to form a modern day F-15C squadron, look to the late 80s...

Re: Su-27/33 Russian Air Superiority...
Words of advice... Track targets with EOS, not radar. They can't tell you're tracking them with EOS. Missiles like the R73 and R27T/ET are IR missiles and use your target from EOS to track. The F-15C doesn't have IR sensors (unlike the A10 or Ka50) and won't know you launched at them. They are close...

F-15's TDC or Target Designation Computer. The F-15C's target computer controls the radar scanner. It's capable of finding targets up to 160nm away. It can tell you the altitude of a target, the type of target, it's bearing, it's heading, and most importantly, IFF capabilities to tell you friend fro...

Re: F-15C and the TEWS TEWS tango...
ECM Number 1 rule, do NOT turn on your ECM and "turn the music on" while casually flying around. ECM doesn't do what you think it does. ECM on the F-15C blankets all directions with radar "noise". You can be seen from 200nm away now. What it DOES do is mask's your aircraft's range and scrambles any...

Re: F-15C and the TEWS TEWS tango...
f15rwr-range.jpg Here's an example using F-15s at different ranges. From closest to farthest, we have spikes at 10 NM (brg 090), 20 NM (brg 360), 60 NM (brg 270), and 100 NM (brg 180), and you can see they correspond with the distance the spike shows up from our aircraft. Again, these distances are...
