Re: Opentrack is twitching
That sucks Kit. Interestingly, I've come to the realization that I have more trouble in Tobruk with my Track IR. It's workable, but it's like an intermittent attack of Parkinson's where the view will quiver for a few seconds. Also getting more horizontal lines in the prop disk. Frigging computers.

Re: Tobruk server thread
I had a couple of micro freezes when dogfighting, but other than that ok. On the CLOD 'feature' side of things. I'm occasionally spawning in with the undercarriage down but not locked. If you hear your hurribus creaking and groaning, slam the toggle switch to lock the gear. I must say, I'm enjoying ...

I was familiar with the concept, but never knew Mr. Brandolini had given it the name and the elegant definition.

Re: Anyone running VR in a Quest 2
I just saw a video on youtube from a guy (VR Flight Sim Guy is his name), that their is a beta patch for the quest 2 that made it much better. Some comments on there that say the same. So maybe you want to check that out. I'm interested in the quest as I can't afford a Reverb and the necessary Video...

Re: Incinvible AI in the Kuban Campaign
I had two episodes of severe rubber banding. Then just as we were jumped by the 109s I got kicked from the sever. So that sucked.

Re: NEW VR vs. Monitor poll - REQUEST ALL ACG MEMBERS TO VOTE!
I'm a "not in the forseeable future" guy. VR sounds great, but for some strange reason, my wife regards getting central heating for the second floor more important than VR and the graphics card update to run it.

Re: Flying Circus Campaign Break Event Number 2! Updated
No wonder you're confused. Apparently drink interfered with both the writing and the proofreading! So to clarify things, I do not have VR. I have figured out the mixture on the Camel, which has helped a bit. At higher prop rev's the effect is less noticeable, but it's still annoying as hell. Cheers ...

Re: Flying Circus Campaign Break Event Number 2! Updated
Probably not the right place to ask this, but i'm assuming you guys are Flying Circus experts. I just got it for xmas and I'm having a terrible flicker issue with the prop disk (on the monitor, I'm on on VR). It's actually got horizontal lines that jump up and down the disk. Kind of like the way the...
