Re: Hardware recomendations for VR
Which means you've spent more than most! :D I remember matrox cards, they were great. Replaced mine with a PowerVR card. Yeah, wiped out our national debt that year. When I upgraded to a 28.8 modem the FBI started checking up on me and Brehznev! Still, a 30mb download meant "check it in the m...

Re: Hardware recomendations for VR
Donkey, I got in when the price of aluminum (aluminium?) Was high and empty beer cans were plentiful. :D I recall replacing my Orchid 3d GPU with a Matrox gpu which had a whopping 8 megs of ram versus the Orchid's 2 megs. Hot stuff! Also my modem connected me online at a blazing 14.4 kbps. I can har...

Re: Hardware recomendations for VR
Good points Flyby - but remember that VR is locked to frame rate, if it can't maintain (e.g. 90) it will drop to (e.g. 45) so sometimes that 5% performance differential costs significantly more then 5% in terms of frame loss. However, as you say money is always a consideration and i think your advi...

Re: Hardware recomendations for VR

My pc spec is Gtx 1080 I5 6600 3.5gHz 16 GB of Ram 3000MHz Running on SSD drive I think the main issue is my CPU only has 4 cores and 4 Threads. Am looking at a big upg...

Re: Steam Account Stolen HELP!!
Hello Toast, Sorry to read about your account being stolen. I contacted Steam directly, and explained the problem. I was given a ticket# for followup. What it boiled down to was me having to prove my ownership of the account. I was asked for a photo-copy of a receipt for a product purchase. I always ...

It even has a Facebook page, which is how I came across it. It used to be a force in simulations. I still own a few from back in the day. The web page is kind of meager, and it seems to be reaching out for talent. New management?

Halloooooooooooo Pattle! thanks for sharing the video. Looking good, there. It'll be interesting to me to see how the damage modeling gets on. Maybe a new video at the correct time to show off new damage features?
