Fixed. Had to manually download the Xbox (Beta) and Xbox Identity Provider apps on the MS store.

I played with the weather settings yesterday and am really pleased. Finally rain and snow is influenced by the wind, and you also see the grass move in the wind similar to the propwash in BoX. It's just a little detail, but to me details like this make the whole thing come alive. It gives a much better sense of what weather there's actually out there.

Nice: Do you use SkyVector for route planning?

Has anyone with a comparable internet speed as me (16 Mbps) played it? I read that the graphics are determined by internet more than anything, since it streams the terrain and weather in. Would suck to have a good computer be limited by my rural internet.

Sure Shot - get the Xbox pass for 1 dollar. Try it out through there. If it doesnt work just cancel the subscribtion, and you'll only be a buck short.

Sure Shot - my internets run at about 15.6Mbps, so hopefully my experience will be useful for you.

First of all, the actual installation was about 96Gb and so took the best part of a day to complete :cry:

Next thing - it flies and looks great. I'm using high but not ultra gfx settings, and everything pootles along merrily at 30-40fps without seemingly being too affected by the terrain.

Last thing - unless of course Mrs B is on netflix and I'm watching youtube on the 2nd screen and downloading a bunch of steam updates, in which case it still looks pretty good but you can definitely see buildings loading in in front of you at lower altitudes.

So my opinion, 16Mbps is perfectly workable as long as that's the only thing you want to do with your bandwidth at that moment. Hope that helps :salute:

I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.
