I got into contact with Falcon, who's a rl glider pilot, and of course he has it. I'll purchase it as well this or next week. The graphics are a bit outdated, but I heard the weather, thermals and flight dynamics are second to none.



There's some scenery packs for purchase.



So post here if you're interested to get into some sportive competition flying. I'm not quite sure how the racing works but there should be plenty of possibilities to make a league with multiplayer races or regular tasks that everyone can fly offline.

It might not look spectacular, but let me tell you this, it's really challenging and you can seriously test your flying skills in the glider.

Mainly because it covers the area where I was flying in real life and the parts of the Alps that interests me.

It seems there's a ton of freeware maps, but I haven't looked into them. I hope I'll be able to do some first training tasks on Monday.

The soaring virus has it's firm grip on me. I forgot how much fun it is. Condor V2.0 might be around the corner as well.
