[X-PLANE] A320 WiP

Post by Miki » Wed Aug 30, 2017 8:27 pm

Hi here,

So we have an outstanding Boeing 737 Classic, the IXEG, and some other nice aircraft out there.
One was missing : an Airbus. I'm not talking about the JarDesign.

The one coming is a study sim level, at least it has been called like that by the dev, Flight Factor.

The good point, is that the aircraft was announced after a long term development, meaning it should be out in some months/weeks, before the end of the year, for sure, in an open beta stage.

Here is the post from the dev, few weeks ago :
Two years ago Flight Factor began a cooperation with a a group of developers to work on a real training simulation for pilots. A simulation at a totally different system depth than our Profession series models.

The group had been developing this project as a training software for use by flight schools for about 6 years before joining us and today we are ready to announce that we have ported this system for the flight sim world. to X-Plane 11 .

After 2 years of additional hard work, we are close to the completion of a training sim level Airbus A320 model. The team assembled for this model is totally different than our other planes, has nothing to do with the Boeings or the A350. This comes from "the real world" so to speak.

I know, it sounds great but let me cool your jets for a second: This model is going to be very different from what you are used to seeing from FF or anything in XP general.

First , this simulation has it own flight model, rather than coming from X-Plane.

Second, the focus in the development of this model was not the flight sim world but training real pilots. Do not expect the new steward to help you in this model :)

Here are some videos :

Really lookinf for this plane ! :)

500 are out. 500 more next week.

There isn't any show stopper after this restricted-open beta, so it won't be long before the final push.

About shared cockpit, it won't be easy as the aircraft is using data from outside XP. So, I guess we'll have something powerful, but it will take time.

I'll try to do a video about the aircraft before this WE.

Cheers,
