Eduard 1/48 109 G4

Post by ArcEye » Sun Jan 30, 2022 7:28 pm

Eduard weekend edition 109 G4. Painted to represent Hauptmann Waldemar Wubkes 109, the CO of 7./JG54 in France in early 1943.

Painted with Vallejo model air paints, Ammo by mig storm grey panel wash, Works cheap oils for exhaust stains and sealed with Vallejo Matt varnish.

1st 1/48th scale kit i've ever done and first time using sponge chipping technique.

That looks great! It’s awesome we have some really good modellers in ACG. I have a couple Eduard kits in my stash will have to start building :D

Loving Eduard models and loving your work, Arceye. I build models myself, but I am not as good as you by far. So I know how much skill and experience should must have. Kudos!

Oops I missed this one. Nice job I love it, Eduards kits are awesome. This reminds me that I didn't finish a kit for a looong time.

Congrats for this very well done 109

Cheers Gents.

I do really like the Eduard kits very detailed but great fitment. Got a Dora and the AdlerAngriff Emil box set to do but atm working on clearing out the last of my 1/72 stuff from Airfix and Revell.
