Christmas build. Dr1

Post by Tex » Sun Jan 08, 2023 8:33 pm

Started the Meng 1/32 Dr1 over the holiday break. Been a long time since I’ve managed to finish a project. This is a nice kit with good fit of parts and solid engineering. Reported to be a Wingnut Wings effort. Used oil paints for the first time to replicate the Fokker streaking. I plan to finish this one.

Very hard to catch the Fokker's typical streaking, yours is more than convincing. I love this little bird.

Closer to being done.
I still have to paint the prop. Trying to do the laminated version is turning out harder than I had expected.
