Re: Models exposed.
You will note there is a generous overlap between the lighter RLM 02 and the proposed darker RLM 71, this guarantees complete coverage with no gaps. Again the RLM 71 was sprayed on allowing our pre shade to show through. Bog standard paper was used to mask off large areas to avoid any overspray. Naturally there will be a little touching up here and there but you should encounter little problems. I removed the cardboard and was pleased with the effect and results. The yellow nose cowlings received a couple of coats of yellow also allowing the pre shade through. The menacing looks are starting to show now, I placed her on the gear and took a few shots to show the result when she is free standing. Pictures below.

So there you have it, the current state of play, yes the canopy needs a little bit of adjustment and framing, the cowling is sitting well considering I had not fully secured one side in the pictures, I note I had not pushed it fully home but hey it was a test shot, I got excited and my prop spins well. The finish draws the eye in and makes the model business like being subtle. Enjoy and bye for now.

Re: 1/24th Scale Me109 build thread
A coat of "Klear" floor polish has been sprayed on the ME 109 and when dry the decals have been applied, naturally the 109 is close to my heart and even better was the fact that I can model my beloved yellow 9 of 9/JG.26 which I am currently flying in ACG.
The decals are great, no issues here, and once again applied "Klear" to seal them in, leaving the aircraft alone for about three days to then settle.
Returing I have now started to apply artists watercolour paint to the panel lines letting it dry for about 5 minutes before wiping away lightly with kitchen roll the excess leaving it just where we want it in the panel lines. It tones the aircraft down a little particularly the yellow cowlings and tends to start to blend everything together. Pictures are attached. Enjoy and more to follow. Props spinning in the first picture, just noticed!!!

Wow that looks lovely!
Can't wait to start on mine... only hope I can achieve a result as good as yours. I've been looking at decal options because I'd like to do a machine from either the 5th or the Stab. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be enough in the way of aftermarket decals though.

G, look at all the Jerry targets here.
Can I bring my CZ83 round an see if they can take a hit or two?

Beautiful Cerby, I'm always in awe of the efforts that go into these projects.

Thanks Boss. Still got the last little bits to do and the display stand which is delayed due to work and my daughters wedding but I apologise in the delay but it will be posted soon for the group.
