All my paints are Humbrol enamel paints. Been using those for model work since I was a little kid :l

No worries, washes and inks work the same way on every kind of paint ;) Just get bottle or two of the shades you would use and put it on your minis.
There are also special kinds of washes- oil ones, but that's a whole new story, no need to bother you with that now. One step at a time and you'll do just fine :)

Kondor, that standard bearer with the double-barreled wheel lock pistol is a total badass. :salute:

A few of my (very) modest efforts:

15 mm Napoleonics:

Fusilier-Grenadiers of the Middle Guard:

Greandiers a Cheval of the Imperial Guard:

French Infantry of the Line (Grenadier company on right):

And in 54 mm:

Subaltern of the Grenadiers a Cheval of the Guard:

And of course, Himself (unfinished - I haven't started the redingote gris past the primer)

Great stuff, Grumpy! I've always loved mid to late Napoleonic period when it comes to military!

Nice pics chaps.

Grumpy, which game is that map from? Same area as the Westwall Market Garden one, but with marsh hex's it must be Napoleonic era...

Napoleonics:
1/72 (20mm)
Image
Image

1/56 (28mm)
Image

1/285 (6mm) Tanks (favourites from huge collection):
British Sherman V (M4A4)
Image

A pair of M36 Jacksons
Image

Western front Tigers in ambush pattern
Image

2nd SS (Das Reich) Eastern front pattern
Image

Flames of War:
Ye olde starter set
Image

Firefly
Image

Air support for the unpainted T34s
Image

Painting (apart from 28mm and the Sturmovik) done when I was 12-13, so not the best
Got a load of other minis either unpainted or done by someone else. Also more Airfix than you could shake a stick at

Can't wait for Iron Maiden release, been waiting for the Brits before starting Team Yankee - yay Chieftains :fap: :fap: :fap:

Good eye, Sharpe! It's the Decision Games' remake of the old SPI Arnhem quad game. As usual, DG took a perfectly great game and utterly messed it up (if it ain't broke....). But I'm trying some custom rules I found on BGG that reconciles the new game with the old one.

And Kondor, Vive l'E'mpereur! :salute:

Right, dad has an old copy of westwall and the market garden game is good, love the scenario with 'custom' DZs. Never been able to get XXX corps to Arnhem in the three days they planned

My Poles need some adversary, so in order to give myself a break from painting British brown all the time, I picked up some Falschirmjager mortar team and begun working on them.

Fuck, I did not know the Splittermuster 41 is such a bitch and pain in the ass to apply.. This guy above has four layers of camo on his knochensack, because first three attempts were ugly and far away from the original pattern's looks.
