If you want to host a sqn Dickie you could with what you've got + PWCG If you want to join then you would need the plane set that sqn is using!

What's PWCG?

Yeah this is the issue. Pariah wants to start with the Airco DH.1 but that's not a pack aircraft, it's a purchasable. I think for inclusions sake we need to perhaps make it easier? Unless I'm missing something. Admittedly I could play Bosch and start with the Fokker scourge in an Eindecker.

Why don’t yourself Boyzee and I get a Nieuport 17c sqdn going, for GMT perhaps Wednesday nights?

As far as I can make out Dickie, Pariah's suggesting there are several squadrons running their own thing on separate nights, because over a certain number and RoF flakes out with cooperatives. Spectre's talking of setting up a free-to-play squadron in an Americas timezone, maybe there's mileage for a similar one in the European time zone, for people who aren't sure or are new to it, and that can grow as and when people want to purchase?

That is explained in another thread.

It's as Bunny says. If someone wants to run a squadron so that people can fly the free planes then that is all cool. I wanted to start a bit earlier and then work our way through the war.

I bought the suggested packs in the sale the other day so I'm easy with whatever aircraft people want to fly, although I haven't really used ROF before so I need to get the hang of it first and sort out that PWCG thingymebob

You will only have to worry about the PWGC if you wish to fly an offline career or host an online co-op campaign. It's well worth having though and I can talk you through setting it up if the How to guide on this forum doesn't help.

I'm always down for some RoF. I'll fly as I'm available.
