Re: Event summary
Sounds great but I would only be able to make it Mondays. I think i'll still get the game and a few of the addons and check it out though.

Yes, of course they are compatible.Flyby wrote:I hope someone will be recording these events to share as ACG videos. Good luck fellas.
btw, is online play from a dvd version compatible with the free Steam version?

And if you have the non-steam version, you can buy every single airplane without the need for any DLCs...

DaHeld,
Not that I doubt you, but I am confused by Steam's statement that the two are incompatible.

Re: Event summary
They are incompatible by means of purchasing more aircraft, if you use the Steam version you must only buy DLC packs from Steam and if you own the independent version you must only buy individual planes from their store. Other than that, exactly the same game.Flyby wrote:DaHeld,

Hope that clears things up

I will fly in your squadron Dickie since the other two squadrons operating in GMT are full.

You should have no problem. Multiplayer is done through Rise of Flight itself.Flyby wrote:I hope someone will be recording these events to share as ACG videos. Good luck fellas.

OK, but how do you know which you bought exactly? Mine is listed in the Steam library but I have no clue anymore how I bought my extra aircraft (Se.5a, Tripe, Driedecker, SPAD XIII) I think I bought some sort of aces pack but I can't honestly remember
Re: Event summary
I bought mine through Steam, but when I log on to my RoF account on their website then it lists all the aircraft I've purchased. When you buy them through Steam you get the key - you use that on your website account to 'unlock' them. I'm pretty sure that's how I did it.

Re: Event summary
Right. I logged into the ROF website and looked at my profile purchases
Under the activation page I have a list of all of my aircraft, so the above plus stock game, and "Activated" on them. I found my order email and it was the individual aircraft. They were not ordered through Steam, but I follow what you say there Bunny.Order: 106296
