Got into two engagements with Nieuports. First was five aircraft second was four. Hit the hell out of one, but then while in pursuit had to evade a head on. The Frenchmen went inverted to get guns on me, but couldn't pull out. The second was over the front. I drilled him, and he slewed sideways and I pumped ammo directly into the side of his fuel tank. He burst into flames, and slowly spiraled to the ground.
