As we patrolled over the lines Sharpe spotted incoming Albatri. I shot at the leader but was taken down by his comrades. I was wounded and had to land near the front line. I crashed but survived. Sharpe gave a good account of himself taking out two of them whilst I was being chased. His engine was damaged though and he had to soon put down in an airfield near the front.

As we patrolled west of the lines Sharpe spotted DFWs on high. As we climbed and climbed I was set upon by three Albatri. I took some shots but in the end there were too many. I was wounded and had to land near the front line. I crashed but survived. Sharpe gave a good account of himself taking out one of them. He nose dived after Sharpe shot him from underneath.

Incoming aircraft turned out to be three of the bastards. Secu was wounded in the attack but Sharpe managed to put two of them down. The other got away.

A blustery day saw us again called up against incoming enemy aircraft. Another three Albatri. Sharpe took care of one but Secu was wounded and Pariah lost his propeller to the rudder of another. Pariah managed to glide down to crash, wounded but otherwise okay.

A balloon busting machine gone wrong. That was the order of the day here. Pariah and Sharpe took off in fine mood armed with HE rockets and a map of their target. However, upon arriving at the target location it was found that there was nothing there but empty air and just a lot of archie. No balloon. Upon performing a reconnaissance of the area we did find a nearby airbase and set upon it with gusto. We shot up one light machine gun but Pariah crashed on attacking the second one. Sharpe dispatched of it before they could capture and then landed his aircraft at the airfield. Pariah, bravely leapt aboard whilst being chased by German mechanics and Sharpe then took off and headed for home.

His wing, however, had been damaged on landing and it was a close thing as to whether it would hold up enough to get them home. In the end it got them over the lines and into friendly territory before it gave way some 100 feet in the air. Some excellent rudder and aileron work from Sharpe to crash land without killing the occupants. Pariah was also wounded but it shouldn't be long before both are back up in the blue.

Sharpe lands to rescue Pariah.

Heading home, just look at the damaged port wing

Whoops. It gave way. Still we walk away and live to fight another day.

The final flight of A.K. Dakker. We were scrambled to intercept four Albatros D.III. They came in head on as we were climbing and then we were fighting for our lives. During in both Broadsword and Pariah were wounded. Both crash landed. Pariah was killed. One of the Germans did put down in a field and was captured. He claimed it was Broadsword who put him down.

A nice long patrol north with a distraction half way of a balloon. Broadsword got the final hits in. Then as we continued our patrol we noticed two aircraft high up. We climbed as they descended. Two Albatri. Broadsword was first amongst them and a lucky hit struck him. He was killed outright and Pariah watched him fall. Pariah twisted and turned his N.17 to face them but they were too manoeuvrable and were soon on him. He was wounded in the fight and then tried to escape over no mans land. He crashed behind enemy lines and is now M.I.A.
