Squadron: No.32 RFC
Position: Leader
Name: Baron Von Digby
Date: 02 June 1916
Base: Proven
Type: Airco DH2

Took off as the flight leader and proceeded to orbit Proven Aerodrome until the chaps were safely in formation. Followed the River Yser eastwards towards no man's land. Climbing to 3000 ft, entered a left-hand orbit over the lines. Spotted two 'Bosche Machines' coming straight at us. Fired a yellow flare in their general direction as to bring the chaps to readiness. Engaged in a head-on pass and saw him spiralling towards the deck after a collision with one of our own. Broke off the engagement and fired a couple of non-lethal bursts into the escort. The squadron then reformed and we engaged two further balloons, destroying one. We landed back at Proven Aerodrome after successfully crossing no man's land once more.

Claims: One fifth of a balloon :D

Squadron: No.32 RFC
Position: Escort
Name: Baron Von Digby
Date: 03 June 1916
Base: Proven
Type: Airco DH2

Took off and followed Ginger on the prescribed patrol route. Sighted a single Fokker Eindecker converging on Ginger's position and so moved to attack. Ginger's gunner vented the Eindecker and I finished him off by removing his left wing. Unfortunately, the debris struck my own aircraft and severely damaged my right wing. I managed to limp all the way back across the lines and crash landed at Proven Aerodrome.

Claims: 1 x Fokker Eindecker Shared

Squadron: No.32 RFC
Position: Escort
Name: Lieutenant Toast
Date: 03 June 1916
Base: Proven
Type: Airco DH2

Patrol with photo recon.

Flares went up as single Eindecker approched as we hit the lines, he was heading directly for the recon RE8. I pulled behind and took a few shots, but had to pull away to dodge bullets as rear gunner of RE8 opened up. I saw he got some good hits with the result that the Eindecker was slowing and dropping. Re joined recon as I saw Diggers was there to finish him.

Risky rest of patrol flying over no-mans land with flak all around. Suffered direct hit on left wing, which slowly crumpled, and I spiralled down at terrific speed with the Airco disintergrating around me.

Luckily the ground broke my fall.

Few hits on Eindecker, but not enough to legitimately claim a share.

No32 RFC 3.6.16

Take off : 18:00

Mission: ESCORT

Pilots: Ginger - Thaine - Digby - Meaker - Toast

Shortly after take orf and reaching the front, and I played rear guard escort to the Leader's RE8.After flying up the lines,it wasn't long before we were attacked by the bosch, and I realised soon after the initial attack, one of the hun's were singling the Guvnor's RE8 out.

So I got closer to the Guvnor as best I could but was hit by flak and blacked out, game over, the bally huns had got me.

KIA unfortunately

Squadron: No.32 RFC
Position: Escort
Name: Thaine
Date: 03 June 1916
Base: Proven
Type: Airco DH2

Patrol with photo recon.

We took of to escort the recon airplane and flew southeast towards the front. It didn't take long and we were attacked by a single Eindecker. The hun went straight for the recon airplane. I followed as fast as I could. In the meanwhile the chaps and the recon gunner peppered the hun. I was able to get some rounds into him, but broke off so to not damage a comrade. The Eindecker dove away. Some followed, but I decided to stay with the recon. We flew north over the front until we reached the coast. Flak was exploding around us, while below us the artillery pounded on the troops.
We returned back south and I undertook a slight detour to force down a hun balloon. I did a single pass, but wasn't able to destroy it. Further on our way home I had to witness a flak shell damaging Toast to my left. I was hoping his plane would hold up. In terror I watched as his wing was ripped of and he spiraled towards the ground.
The recon and I returned finally to the base and were delighted to find Digby sitting there sipping tea. His plane was damaged and he was able to limp back. Meaker, however, is unfortunately still uncounted for.

Squadron: No.32 RFC
Position: Escort
Name: Toast
Date: 06 June 1916
Base: Proven
Type: Nieuport 11

Took off into the setting Sun; escort bomber mission to hit a railway bridge.

We gained some height before crossing the front. Met by a Hun in a Halberstadt, soon followed by a couple of Fockers..!!
The rear gunner in the RE Crate, soon dispensed with one of the Fockers. I stuck with the RE Crate until sure he was clear and knowing we would be hounded by the remainder until we dispensed with them, I dove down and went after the Halberstadt. I could out turn him and was soon on his tail. I fired some bursts into the cockpit area and he went straight down.
With the other Focker dealt with by one or all of the others, we hurridly headed back to the RE Crate, who was attracting the attention of two more Halberstadts. They must have got some wounding blows into him, as he was last seen heading down with a dead stick, but in control.
I chased after one, got him smoking and venting, trying to evade me further, his right wings broke away, and down he went.
With the other Chaps taking turns on the other Hun, I took high cover to avoid us getting in each others way. They soon had him down.
We headed home, the mission still awaiting completion. I made a few holes in a Hun balloon on the way.

Claims ~ 2 Halberstadts

Flew escort for the R.E.8 bomber and eventually ran into the hun just beyond their lines. I vented a Fokker Eindecker and eventually tore his left wing clean off! We reformed and did our best to stick with the bomber. Multiple Halberstadts entered the area and I eventually dispatched one close to the ground. Unfortunately, during the chaos, the R.E.8 was lost!

Claims: Fokker Eindecker & Halberstadt

Squadron disbanded :( . However, I would very much like to continue flying with people in RoF.
