I am so stoked for Flying Circus. What a treat! Think we may reorganize the ROF squadrons for it? It's in the future obviously, but something to consider. Looks like it will focus (at first) on the spring/summer of 1918.

Most of the Squadrons/Jastas were still around, just in different aircraft.

777 is working FC out with the third party dev that helped with RoF however, they haven't done a whole lot since. Bottomline is to get the dev reacquainted with map making they are doing a 100x100km map with volume 1, and plan to expand the map to the full Western Front RoF map with Vol.2.

So possibly a reorg if the historical aerodrome isn't included in the initial map. That said, Pat Wilson's ought to be just fine for us considering he already has the BoS version working. He has said that 80% of the code between the two is already the same, and considering that FC will be the same engine as BoX we should be a-okay.

There is a lot to be excited about right now. We'll just have to keep up the fun until then. FC is probably a year off. Possibly we'll see some content in 10, but I doubt it.

Still it's a very exciting prospect.

I've flown a bit of FC in my spare time and I love it.
I'd like to keep my hand in it and was wondering what the future is? Will there ever be a FC ACG campaign? I don't mean as a replacement to the WW2 campaign, I mean as addition to, on another night.
I don't own RoF and if FC is the new replacement I'll stick with it, but I rarely see anything going on.

29 Sqdn has been flying ROF on a regular basis and continues to do so with it’s campaign. We will be carrying over to flying circus hopfully in the new year for more frolicks and fun :salute:

That's great, Thanks Nev.
I'd like to join the fun when you guys transition to FC. I doubt at this time that I will buy (or spend training time on) RoF, simply because it looks like FC will be the new deal. And I already devote most of my training to CoD (I'm a mess there). Time is at a premium, so I have to manage it, best I can.
Salut,
Kit

Hi Nev
Been away for about a year (family stuff) and hoping to get back to ACG.
When you move over to FC let me know, I use VR and love FC.
