If you mean will you have to buy it all again, then the answer is yes sadly.Hopefully there'll be a discount for us old RoF'ers.

Hey Arch, where'd you source a "yes" answer? If true, then I do hope there'll be a discount for us.

Jason wants to do this but the decision lies with 1C. They have a 3rd party which need paying.

"Improvement of IA and RoF2 with new engine, FM, and VR. Great news !
But will we have to buy again all the planeset of Rof ?"

"Yes you will need to buy improved airplanes and a new map. How the heck am I supposed to survive as a company if I have to not sell you things that require labor to complete? I may be able to offer a discount to ROF owners if they behave themselves as we build FC.

Jason"

So if you already dont have:
"Flyable Aircraft and Content (Tentative List):
- SPAD 13 C.1
- Sopwith Dolphin
- Sopwith Camel
- RAF S.E.5a
- Bristol Fighter
- Albatros D.Va
- Fokker Dr.1
- Fokker DVII
- Pfalz D.IIIa
- Halberstadt CL.II"

In your RoF, dont buy them to avoid paying twice :)

Behave myself!?!?! Well I'll try, but I'm so damn excited I don't think I can haha!

Either way I'll pay, but I think it'll be possible to get the discount even if it is a very small one like 10-15%. Honestly I'd be happy with that because, I want FC to make money. I want it to be populated, and I want people to see how much fun these old birds are.

Also that is a tentative list, and the chances of a few of those getting swapped out is probably very high. I'd say get everything you like in Rise of Flight because it's worth it, and then get it all again to support the even more niche sim than simming already is. I'll actually pre-order this because, they have delivered everything they've ever promised.

I still can’t quite believe we are getting a new version. I never thought this niche market, WWI flying that is, would get into the VR market. So looking forward to this.

Not enough two seater i'am afraid! Not having the Be2c or Albatross cII in a WW1 mission is like the BoB without the bombers. :(

I agree however, they have stated that the plan is to just test the waters with this first volume. They said volume two will be hot on the heels once they figure out how to port the old birds over.
