Artillery spotting

Post by Ginger » Sun Nov 19, 2017 12:48 am

Hi chap's as we all know the only reason the scout / fighter was born was to stop the recon / artillery spotting machines over the front from getting shot down or completing their mission. This short track is from a mission I flew today which allows the player to become a artillery spotter and guide the guns on to target by plotting coordinates on the map and sending this info by radio to the ground. Then you can watch the show from above , if the rounds fall short or long , left or right you just send another signal until the target is hit. Now this is not my work it was designed by a pilot called (Waxworks) many moons ago but I can build the same logic into a mission if any one wants to give it ago.
Ps the quality is a bit shite so it's best viewed windowed.

We did some missions like that one several years ago, if you have them can you send me the files. I'm just trying to remember how to use the editor, my memories are coming back slowly but not for all situation and triggers.
