Hi, can anyone help? I have a joystick no surprises there then, ive set the parameters and settings for ailerons rudder etc , I then save them and apply, the work great until I come back to it after a lay off , all the settings have gone, ive tried to load from my saved file but it wont, I then installed again all the flying parameters came back to the game and yes you guessed it not set all empty and have to reset them.
Ive played the game now for 12mnths and it has never forgot them before so what's going on, also I can play the game once then I have to go to settings as I get a black screen on steam and have to reset that.
its driving me crazy every time I want to fly having to put everything back for the control settings
Can anyone come up with a solution please

Re: help please
If it’s steam there’s something about saving ini files to the cloud. This can mess saves on the game. Have a look in steam settings.
Always above, seldom on the same level, never underneath.

After setting up the controls .......
Click .. 'save as ' ..... a 'windows' window should appear ......
(I save my settings in the userconf ini folder ) click on any 'ini' folder you want to save your settings in . It will ask if you want to override ( yes ) Close the window and you should be go to go .

Dissabling Steam-Cloud-Synchronisation for Cliffs in Steam should serve you well.
