Problems solved with a new SSD set up and Clean install of Windows 10 after many hours of help from Donkey. He didn't know he was dealing with someone who could blackout an entire city by changing a lamp..... but he did it anyway. :)

Well the solution with Louisa ended up being a complete re-install of the OS as she wanted to move from Windows 7 to windows 10 anyway ... And when she'd first bought her SSD something had gone wrong with the clone, meaning we needed to fully reformat it anyway as we could not easily shift the partitions. Full OS install is obviously an extreme solution, but justified in the above case given the situation. It will almost certainly work, but it is a bit of a ball-ache...

Hmm. I'm on windows 10. I've on and only recently lost settings. Culprits are throttle (mostly) usually after 5 mins flying, gun trigger and pilot head positions ie 6 o clock. Do you think a game reinstall might help? Obviously flying with throttle wide open and no weapons is a bit concerning

I'm not sure. It sounds like your USB peripherals are falling asleep for whatever reason, but as to whether that is in-game or in windows is a question I can't answer.
