SteamVR has encountered a critical error

I've been getting a random SteamVR crash which only seems to happen in multiplayer. I notice that DCS VR players are reporting similar issues. Anyone else on ACG experiencing this?

I had a crash to desktop , the first time i ran the update, but all's fine since.
