Sorry I didn't get back sooner Kon. My gain is set the same as yours.

Rostic and I tried everything and couldn't find a fix. At supper time I gave up for the day.

We found that the "Status - Camera Info: " value is jumping (twitching) from 2/13/75 FPS very fast. All in a spit second, over and over. I think that is showing where the twitching is accruing, but we don't know how to make it stop. I believe that it should be stable at 75 FPS.
That is indeed interesting. What kind of camera do you have?

I have the Delan clip and the PS3 camera.
The frustrating thing is, it was working just fine the night before. The next day it was twitching. Could the camera have shit the bed overnight? Atmospheric conditions? Ghosts?

Found this on line

Fixed by myself painted with matt black all the metal part of the Delan Clip
Having light reflected on the metal was creating problems with the tracking.

A large deadzone will make it jump/stutter... deadzone means "ignore any
movement smaller than this", which means you get no movement until it is
larger than that, at which point it will jump to the new position.

Wish I could help kit but I'm an idiot with things like that. Hope you get it sorted.

Could it be some sort of USB issue after having plugged in some of your flight controls? Have you tried connecting it to another port (preferably on a different controller). Otherwise I would probably suggest it being a driver issue, i know there are a few different drivers for the PS3 eye out there.

Hi

What clip are you using Kit?, I had a similar problem with my trackhat clip the wiring was damaged where it was soldered onto the clip.

I tried switching USB ports, and it didn't help. And Rob, I use the Delan clip. All the solder connections look fine.
Because this happened after a simple overnight shutdown, I tend to think the driver hunch might be more likely.
I know NOTHING about drivers and wouldn't know where to start.

Hello Kit,

I doubt its a driver issue but have a look if windows did any updates just before the problem occurred.

More likely you do have a cable issue and the clip LEDs are cutting out intermittently - I had similar but I use facetracknoir..

Go back to basics.
1. Run your opentrack program up.
2. Hold your hat, but ideally just the clip, face onto the camera and check each direction; up, down, left, right to each fullest extent.
3. Check if the LEDs flick on/off or any other issue presents itself.
4. You should be able to determine and replicate at what point the program shows fps loss.
Cheers,

Paddy
