Re: HOW TO: Virtual Cockpit / Device Link
Each cockpit has a folder with an overall cockpit.ini, and then each control. You would need to edit them and they are understandable but nevertheless 'codey' so let me know when you've worked it out
Once I get the shiz from Miki I'll share. If you have a different screen from 1280x1024 then post here, perhaps Miki can make some different sizes.

Re: HOW TO: Virtual Cockpit / Device Link
You've got several .iniSabre wrote:Miki how have you adjusted the ositions of some of the instruments? Also is there a way to stop certain instruments/indicators from being displayed permanently? I uncheck certain things but I haven't found a way to save it so every time VC restarts it's back to everything checked.
The main one, cockpit.ini is where you adjust the position of each gauge. You can add a % to size the gauge as well.
Not a hard job, but a long one...
Each gauge is defined by a .ini
You can work on each gauge, but it's a bit harder.
If you want to stop having displayed a particular instrument, you should edit the cockpit.ini and erase the text of the gauge, be aware to respect the } format.
What is your screen resolution ?
@ Osprey : you've got it now, tell me if it's ok.

Hello;
I'm trying to implement this in the game, it doesn't seem to work - its no doubt my faulty brain.
This will work for all the aircraft correct?

OK. Right. I got it to work, however- I have a window page off to the left side that pushes the instrument off to the right.
Any ideas bout it?
It works very well and everything is "spot on" - great addition the sim and very crisp.

After selecting the display monitor, you have checked the scale to fit option?Von Webber wrote:OK. Right. I got it to work, however- I have a window page off to the left side that pushes the instrument off to the right.

Sabre:
Yes sir, did that. I still have the window though. Going through the setup line by line now.
Thanks for the reply

Re: HOW TO: Virtual Cockpit / Device Link
Got this set up on my other monitor just to see how it works. Totally worth it just for having a compass and temperature gauge that I don't have to zoom in and squint at all the time...
