Thrustmaster Warthog Joystick Death!

Post by Pinetree » Thu Dec 28, 2017 10:29 am

Hi Chaps, Unfortunately my Warthog joystick seemed to have died a death on the 26th while i was flying.
I have reset the boot loader from thrust master many times, plugged it into every USB port on the PC twice! switched off the xHIC setting in BIOS windows, plugged in it into another PC, but to no avail.
I have looked inside carefully at the connections following a YouTube video but still nothing.
Any ideas?
Pinetree. :(

I had the same on mine, not seen by the PC at all. The company I bought it from took it back as it was under warranty but said it worked for them fine s they wouldn’t replace it. In the end I went to Thrustmaster and they sent me a replacement PCB which I used. Took the old one out, soldered the new one in place and it worked fine and has worked ever since.

Just to make sure I'd plug it into another PC (if available).
